In 2012 Variety Victoria celebrates its 22nd Bash!
The Bash is a hilariously madcap event – involving outrageously themed cars and participants. It is not a race or a rally, but a fun social event - or in the words of Dick Smith, "A drive in the outback with a few mates". It's a madcap event designed to put the FUN back into fundraising, with all donations going to assist Variety the children's charity Victoria.

In 2012, the Variety Bash Victoria is travelling to Hamilton Island. Departing from Shepparton on 23rd August, we will travel through four states of Australia before reaching our final destination in north east Queensland. Along the way, we will experience many icons of this great country including the Birdsville Track and Broken Hill. We will also witness the many towns that are prospering from the mining boom.
The annual Variety Bash is Australia's most successful charity motoring event. It is the focal point of many hundreds of supporters of Variety, who fundraise throughout the year to help support children with special needs.
